It’s been just over a week since my friend Ya’ara Saks and I were sworn in as Member of Parliament, friend.

It’s already an honour to be doing my part to help build a better Canada in this exciting new way. Since joining the Liberal team as your MP for Toronto Centre, I've been busy doing what I was elected to do: getting to work for the people in my community, helping keep people safe and supported through this global crisis, and fighting to make life better for Canadians everywhere.

This is just the beginning, and the coming weeks and months will require no shortage of hope and hard work from all of us.
