Our movement has always been about thinking big and having the guts to fight for what no one thought was possible.

This December's end of year fundraising deadline is no different — which is why we have set a very ambitious goal of reaching $500,000 before the year comes to a close.

I'm going to be honest: we are not sure if we will hit this goal. Getting there will be a bit of a stretch. But I believe it is very important for us to try.

Our movement has never shied away from taking on the fights no one thought could be won. And this upcoming year is no different:

350's campaigns and programs are aimed directly at stopping oil, coal, and gas projects by organizing on-the-ground and building national pressure. From Indigenous and climate activists coming together to stop the Line 3 Pipeline in Minnesota, to protesting auctions for oil and gas exploration in the Amazon, we are gearing up for major fights in the year ahead.

Reaching this goal would give us the resources to take our organizing power to the next level — that means not only dismantling the fossil fuel industry, but taking on the financial institutions who bankroll them.

They may have money. But we have a movement. And when ordinary people come together, there is no doubt in my mind that we will win.
