Millions of people throughout the world, including thousands of us here in Colorado, are striking today for climate action.
The climate crisis forms the fundamental moral test of our time—and the main reason I’m running for the U.S. Senate. We’re campaigning for a Green New Deal, a bold vision to end our reliance on fossil fuel and create a clean-energy economy.
This fight pits us against not only Republicans like Cory Gardner but some Democrats as well. One of my opponents—recruited by the national party for a job he said he didn’t want and wouldn’t do well—spent the last eight years promoting fracking and threatening local governments that tried to restrict it.
That’s no way to win this race or combat the climate crisis.
Here’s the good news: even a generic Democrat beats Cory Gardner by 10 points. Let’s make sure we replace Gardner with a climate champion—a senator who will stand up to the nation’s biggest polluters, not do their bidding.
Unlike other campaigns, we don’t take money from the fossil fuel industry. Whether we raise the resources to win depends entirely on individuals like you.
