Hello,
CNBC: 42 million student loan borrowers “have just one month left to figure out how they’re going to resume monthly payments on their education debt while the coronavirus pandemic is still crushing the economy.”
This is beyond unacceptable. The student loan crisis has been out of control for far too long, operating mainly as a system that takes advantage of young people as they seek to obtain financial independence, hindering their social mobility. And now that the pandemic has devastated our country’s public health and economy, student loan borrowers are in a worse position than ever before.
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are promising to do a lot of things when they take office -- and today, we need to make sure that addressing the student loan crisis is one of them.
