Dear John,

First and foremost, we hope you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. As we move beyond the 2020 election and set our eyes on 2022, we are reaching out today to share the Kansas Democratic Party's vision to continue mobilizing our state for years to come. Over the next 12 months, our team will:

- BUILD DEMOCRATIC INFRASTRUCTURE: In the coming months, our team will continue to help counties across Kansas organize and build Democratic infrastructure. We know that relational organizing is one of the most effective persuasion methods, and making sure that the KDP has an active presence in every community is paramount to our success in 2022.

- RECRUIT CANDIDATES FOR OFFICES UP AND DOWN THE BALLOT: It's not enough to have qualified candidates at the top of the ballot, we must have Democrats running for office at every position possible. Over the next 12 months, we will continue to recruit and train a wide bench of Democratic candidates for offices up and down the ballot.

- SPREAD OUR MESSAGE FROM URBAN CENTERS TO RURAL COMMUNITIES: It is critical the KDP continues to build infrastructure in rural communities. In 2020, a significant number of rural Democrats ran for office to represent their community's best interests; ahead of 2022, the KDP will help more step up to the plate and win. To do this, we must highlight Party values that resonate with rural Kansans while also significantly increasing Democratic voter registration across rural and urban centers alike.

In 2022, we must protect Governor Kelly's seat to keep Kansas moving forward with a Governor who believes in science and will constantly advocate for hardworking families. We also must expand our reach across Kansas' 105 Counties and send more Democrats to the State Legislature to give Governor Kelly a legislature that will work with her in a second term.

Off-year organizing is difficult and expensive work - but it lays the groundwork for our success for years to come. To be successful in 2022, we must start organizing, fundraising, and building infrastructure today. If you believe in our mission to flip Kansas blue, please consider providing a donation to fund our vision. Your donation will help spread our message of home and lay the foundation for historic wins in the future. [[link removed]]
