Friend –

If you told me the USGLC’s 2020 Tribute Celebration on World AIDS Day would reach nearly a quarter of a million Americans nationwide, I would have said that’s crazy!

But that is just what happened this past week – virtually and in the midst of a global pandemic – honoring Dr. Anthony Fauci, the World Food Programme’s David Beasley, and UNICEF’s Henrietta Fore and celebrating America’s role in building a better, safer world.

Alongside our Celebration Co-Chairs, the United Nations Foundation, Pfizer, and Merck, we were joined by some pretty incredible special guests – Elton John, José Andrés, Téa Leoni, Barbara Bush, seven former Secretaries of State and Defense, and more than 30 Members of Congress – whose enthusiasm practically jumped off the screen!

While our evening together is over, the special Tribute remains open and accessible to all. So if you didn’t get a chance to tune in, I hope you’ll watch and share the celebration with your friends, families, and colleagues!

In a year like no other, I’m so grateful for your ongoing engagement in the “USGLC family” as we mark 25 years – and I hope our 2020 Tribute is as much of a bright spot and inspiration for you as it was for me!

Stay well,

Liz
