Dear Friend,
Nowhere in the Constitution does it mention a right to NOT be offended.
Nonetheless, this imaginary right to not be offended seems to be trumping the First Amendment at every turn. Make no mistake: these are acts of censorship, driven by a politically correct need to pander to those who are easily offended.
Don’t let yourself be muzzled, censored, silenced or shut up.

Justice Louis Brandeis was right when he warned, “A silent, inert citizenry is the greatest menace to freedom.”
The future of freedom in America rests with those who refuse to be silenced.
I can assure you that The Rutherford Institute is doing our part to ensure that Americans can continue to speak truth to power. We're filing lawsuits, we're issuing policy papers, we're advising community leaders, and we're sounding the alarm whenever the government runs afoul of the Constitution.
Still, we can’t fight these battles alone.
Especially now, with so much hanging in the balance across the nation (and more than $200,000 in budgetary shortfalls that must be made up by year-end), it’s vital that The Rutherford Institute remain on the front lines of the fight for freedom in America. Understanding what we’re up against, some donors have joined together to issue a special, year-end matching gift challenge.
Please take a moment to make a tax-deductible, year-end donation right now to help us fight these critical battles. Any gifts received before December 31, 2020, will also count towards this year-end matching gift challenge.
For freedom,
John W. Whitehead
President
