Beginning on December 12th, Washington state law requires a mandatory “freeze” on all fundraising for statewide elected officials, like Bob.
In other words, Bob cannot accept campaign contributions as long as the state legislature is in session (and in the past it has lasted up to 6 months!). If you send a check — we send it back to you. No exceptions.
What does this mean really?
We have less than one week to do all the fundraising we would normally do in the first six months of the campaign. Bob does not accept donations from large corporations, and relies on individual grassroots support. The majority of our donations come in $10 or $20 at a time. As a result, it takes us longer to raise funds, so we start early.
We need your support now to raise the $25,000 we’ve budgeted. Can Bob count on you to make a contribution of $20 right now?
Bob’s work doesn’t stop because of the freeze and we will continue to update you on what the Washington Attorney’s General office is up to — but this is our last week to secure campaign support for a long time.
We’re sensitive to the fact that the 2020 election has just ended. You have shown Bob incredible support this year and we thank you for staying active and engaged in the important work we’re doing to protect Washingtonians.
Please consider making a final pre-freeze contribution today to support Bob in the months ahead. Here’s the link to give again:

Thank you!
