Friend,
Earlier this year, Al Jazeera
spotlighted our Flatbush chapter leader Dawn. She was laid off at the beginning of the pandemic, and she hasn’t been able to pay rent ever since. On top of that, she wasn’t able to receive the state’s unemployment insurance money to do her immigration status.
Our members like Dawn are closest to the problems that this pandemic has exacerbated, and therefore are also the closest to the solutions. And every day we are organizing, and building power together to win the conditions necessary for our communities to thrive.
We have a $40,000 shortage in our annual membership dues, but with your help we can raise that and more. If everyone gave $2, we would exceed our goal of $40,000.

It’s an honor to be in this movement with you.
In solidarity,
Jonathan Westin
