My #1 priority right now is helping our community get this virus under control so we can all get back to work. That's why, I was so keen on visiting St. Joseph's Hospital South last week, meeting with our front-line doctors and nurses, and seeing what this virus looks like from within the ICU and ER.

They are doing God's work there and the message was clear; they need your help. Wear your mask, wash your hands, and keep each other safe.

We know protective measures work, they have been in close contact with this virus since April and have managed to keep themselves healthy because of their masks and safety protocols. We can BEAT this virus.

Also, don't delay your care. If you are sick, contact your doctor via the telephone and seek a consultation. Hospitals are safe and delaying care can be deadly.

We are in this together — and together we can beat this virus once an for all.
