John -- I just got off a call with our door-to-door canvassing team in Georgia, and I want you to hear the updates first:

Our door-to-door canvassing office in Savannah, Georgia is officially open! Door knocking is the most effective tool we have to overcome low turnout numbers often seen in runoff elections.

Safety is our top priority. The paid staff knocking doors will have their temperatures checked throughout the day and we provide folks with full PPE and hand sanitizer. Trainings and lit pick-ups will happen outside, with people only going into the office one at a time if they need to use the restroom.

All of the conversations with voters are happening at a safe distance with our staff stepping 6 feet away after knocking on doors.

We are going the extra mile to make voters feel safe by texting voters the day before to let them know we're planning to stop by and giving them the opportunity to decline a visit. If someone is uncomfortable, that's OK. We'll instead text with the voter to talk about Rev. Warnock and Jon Ossoff and ask them to register for an absentee ballot.

Our infrastructure is set up but we're still short of grassroots fundraising goal. If you can give $5 or $10 today, we'll be able to reach more Georgia voters and win TWO U.S. Senate seats. [link removed]

We can have more of Mitch McConnell reigning over the Senate and blocking everything from the Biden administration that would actually help Americans, or we can win in Georgia and finally kick Obstructionist McConnell out of power. With a Democratic Senate, we'll be able to pass legislation that will get folks back on their feet. But it's only possible if we succeed in Georgia.
