Government inaction on climate change is not an option

This week, I was honored to join youth activists from Our Children's Trust, Swedish global climate activist, Greta Thunberg, and the Sunrise Movement at the Capitol and on the steps of the Supreme Court to send a clear message. That government inaction on climate change is not an option. And we mean business.

Join me as we march across the world to save our planet.

Climate change is the greatest existential threat to our planet and risks denying these children a future that is protected by the United States Constitution.

I support their lawsuit against the federal government and was pleased to submit an amicus brief in support of Juliana v. The United States. We must act and we must act now to implement green, sustainable solutions like electrification in the transportation sector and renewable sources of energy. It is our duty to young people across the world and future generations to take bold leaps and fuel a green revolution. I'm proud to stand with them and stand up for them, their future, and the place that we call home.

Take action today for our planet's future in a global climate strike today, Friday, September 20. Find an organized march near you.
