When the forces of structural racism conspired to block a vote to decriminalize marijuana in September, Our Revolution reached out to you and started mobilizing.

That’s why we are so proud to let you know that after thousands of Our Revolution Members joined with the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) to write letters to Congress, the House of Representatives has passed a bill to decriminalize marijuana!

John, our victory in the House is an important step away from the systemic racism of the drug war and mass incarceration, and it’s only possible because of our work together.

Now this bill goes on to the Senate, where it faces Mitch McConnell and other politicians too beholden to racist ideology to side with the vast majority of Americans on marijuana.
