AP: "Trump headed to Georgia as runoff boost, but also a threat"

We're about one month out from the Georgia runoffs, and President Trump was in the Peach State yesterday to campaign on behalf of Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock's Republican opponents.

Georgians are already casting their ballots by mail, so we need to give Jon and Raphael the resources to defeat dark money and the GOP fundraising machine at the ballot box now. If you can, will you split a contribution between Jon and Raphael's campaigns and mine?

So much hangs on the outcome in Georgia.

The runoffs will determine which party will win control of the Senate.

They'll determine whether we finally put an end to Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's gridlock and obstruction in the Senate.

They'll determine whether the Biden Administration has a Senate that will work with them on their pro-worker agenda.

They'll determine whether we can pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act and protect health care for millions of Americans.

They'll determine our country's response to the pandemic and whether we provide workers with enhanced unemployment benefits, hazard pay, stimulus checks, and housing assistance.

All told, the Georgia runoffs will determine the future of our country and it's going to take every single one of us getting involved to make sure we're on the right path forward.

Trump was in Georgia to signal to outside groups to pour even more dark money on top of the $70 million McConnell and GOP groups have spent on the runoffs. Jon and Raphael are counting on us to fight back. If you can, split a contribution between their campaigns and mine.
