President-elect Biden has said he would revoke legal protections for Big Tech, which would then make companies like Twitter and Facebook accountable for hosting false information, like the kind that propelled Trump to victory in 2016.
But even though studies have shown conservatives share the most “fake news” online, many GOP senators are convinced Big Tech is actually too friendly to progressives.
