The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has asked us to share an important alert with you. As a COVID-19 aid package begins to take shape in Congress, it is critical that Catholic schools get relief. Already some 160 Catholic schools have permanently closed, in part due to the pandemic. Another 10 percent of Catholic schools across the country are at risk.
The USCCB is requesting that Congress include the School Choice Now Act in COVID relief legislation, and that our schools get their fair, proportionate amount of school relief funds.
