Hello,

POLITICO reports that "as many as 87 million public and private sector workers could lose access to the federally mandated [paid sick and family leave] at the end of the year" -- right as the pandemic enters its most dangerous phase.

The federally mandated benefit, along with expanded unemployment insurance, will expire this month if Congress fails to act, leaving millions of Americans to choose between their health and their paycheck. With Mitch McConnell refusing to entertain the idea of providing much needed aid to "blue states," that outcome seems increasingly likely.

But according to POLITICO, "a bipartisan group of senators is trying to jump-start stalled coronavirus stimulus talks," as a new stimulus package could form part of a spending bill due by December 11 in Congress.

Republicans have made it clear they don't think it's necessary to provide expansive relief in a second stimulus bill -- and it appears they're ready to postpone COVID relief as long as they're able, which could mean delaying until Biden is elected. Today we need to know what Democrats like you are thinking as we near the end of the year. Should Americans have to wait any longer for additional pandemic help? Please, tell us now:

Should Congress pass a stimulus bill before Inauguration Day?
