- A federal judge ordered the Trump administration to begin accepting Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) applications on Friday, marking the first time DACA will be fully reinstated since 2017. - Proposed restrictions on employers wanting to hire foreign workers in the H-1B visa category were halted by the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of California.
The court cited an amicus brief filed by the American Immigration Council in its ruling against the Trump administration. The amicus brief highlighted a number of instances when the immigration agencies changed a rule between announcing the proposed rule and publishing a final rule.
