Dear John,

Yesterday your Republican Party of New Mexico filed a lawsuit seeking to impound and review the ballots cast in Bernalillo County.

We’re happy to report that last night our request was granted by the judge, who ordered the state police to immediately take possession of — and secure — the ballots and accompanying election materials.

This bold step will allow New Mexico Republicans to have full access to the ballots so we can thoroughly review the various allegations and reports of irregularities and fraud during this election.

The state party has already fully financed the first steps of this process, but we need your help to get the job done right.

It will take hundreds of hours to review each of the tens of thousands of ballots, and the process will continue to cost significant money. But we believe the cost is worth it to ensure that New Mexico voters can have their confidence in their elections once again.
