Friend—

This morning, Greens and allies like you woke up across the country to grab their banners, their megaphones, signs and chant sheets. The big day to kick off the #GlobalClimateStrike is here! And not a minute too soon. The Green Party's contributions to this moment have been essential: a decade of campaigning for a truly transformative Green New Deal and many decades of commitment to rejecting corporate money and challenging this fundamentally undemocratic power structure that suppresses real solutions to the climate crisis.

Will you give $20 or more today in honor of the countless Greens who stayed up late last night painting banners, or woke up early this morning to pick up visiting activists from the bus station? Who will shout themselves hoarse in the street today and over the upcoming days, so we can continue supporting candidates and organizers to keep this movement moving forward?

You and I both know the corporate power structure has countless tools to co-opt, distract and divide the people. False promises from the candidates and parties that have betrayed us countless times before. "Progressive" and "green" front groups funded with cash from the 1% who only exist to compromise for non-solutions before the fight has even really begun.

It's not fair or right, but our party and candidates must compete with those phonies for attention and support. Please contribute now so we have the necessary resources to strengthen the Green Party and keep fighting for real solutions that can’t wait.
