On December 1st, CDC advisers voted to uphold their recommendation that health care workers and residents of care facilities be among the first people to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

But while they're preparing for distribution, some Americans still don't support a vaccine at all, having fallen prey to the slew of conspiracy theories the far-right is spreading about poor testing and tiny computer chips.

What those Americans don't know is that by boycotting the vaccine, they're putting front-line workers at risk. The only way we'll control this pandemic is if everyone gets a vaccine when it becomes available to them -- if people who are eligible forgo it, they might infect other vulnerable populations.
