Friend, today marks one year since our first Speech from Throne following the last election – and it’s fair to say the world has changed a lot since then.

Just last week, Chrystia Freeland presented the Fall Economic Statement and outlined the Liberal government’s plan to keep Canadians safe and supported, and rebuild Canada’s economy. In the last few months, we’ve also been moving forward on a number of priorities we committed to in last year’s campaign – including our commitment to ban harmful single-use plastics, moving forward with legislation that bans harmful anti-LGBTQ2 conversion therapy, committing Canada to net-zero emissions by 2050, launching the Universal Broadband Fund to help ensure Canadians have reliable internet, and so much more.
