Friend, national Republicans are pouring money into turning Virginia red and unseating me next year, but they're also trying to flip Minnesota and take down Senator Tina Smith.

You may be asking: what do Virginia and Minnesota have in common?

1. Donald Trump has set his sights on winning both states in 2020.
2. Two former GOP Congressmen, who were both defeated after only one term, are now running for Senate against us.
3. Both of these former Congressmen have a track record of voting with Trump more than 90% of the time during their (very) brief tenure in Congress.
4. Best of all, Virginians and Minnesotans rejected Trump in 2016, and in 2018 they kicked out a lot of GOP incumbents (like the ones now challenging Tina and me).

Real quick: can you pitch in today? Your donation will be split between my campaign and Senator Smith's campaign so we can fight back!

Virginia and Minnesota have already told Donald Trump there's no place for him, his policies, or his Senate candidates in either state.

But in 2020, Donald Trump will try again. He's already investing big in both Virginia and Minnesota, and we simply can't let him succeed.

Will you rush a contribution right now to help us fight back? It'll be split between my campaign for Senate and Tina Smith's re-election campaign.
