The last few weeks have been non-stop for The Fawcett Society. From Equal Pay Day to our #MakeWomenVisible conference, we've been sharing our research and campaigning work to advance women's equality.
And we've got some exciting news. As announced at our AGM, Felicia Willow will be joining us as our interim CEO. Felicia comes to us with impressive experience in interim leadership positions but for all the important questions - check out our video: In Conversation with Felicia. Particularly if you're interested in finding out about what she'd serve at a dinner party with her special guests.
Christmas Appeal
We are so thankful to everyone who has donated to our joint Christmas appeal with Women for Refugee Women. We have already raised over £1000!
Every pound makes a difference to both Fawcett and Women for Refugee Women. If you haven’t already given, please consider supporting. Your donation will fund Fawcett’s hard-hitting research and campaigning and help Women For Refugee Women make Christmas a little brighter and warmer for the women in their network
At our AGM this year, many of you told us that our commission on gender stereotypes was one of our most important aspects of our work. After a year of research and discussion, we are pleased to announce that we will be launching Unlimited Potential: A Report on the Commission on Gender Stereotypes in Early Childhood on Tuesday 15 December.
We will present the report's findings and a response from Gillian Keegan MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Apprenticeships and Skills at the Department for Education. We'll also have a diverse range of voices from across the sector on our panel - and we'd love for you to attend. Sign up now to be there.
In solidarity and determination, The Fawcett Society Team
