If you are not registered to vote, you need to register by this Monday, December 7.

Sanford Bishop for Congress

Dear John,

I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving and are staying healthy and safe. The critical Senate runoff election is only one month away, and I need to emphasize that the outcome will determine the Biden-Harris administration’s ability to make real change. Here are three things you need to know:

  1. If you are not registered to vote, you need to register by this Monday, December 7. Young people who will turn 18 by January 5, 2021 will be able to vote for Senate if they register now. Please take this weekend to make sure your loved ones will be able to participate in January. Click here to register, update, or check your voter status: https://registertovote.sos.ga.gov.
  2. As coronavirus rates continue to rise here in Georgia, we need to begin thinking about voting safely. Click here to request a mail-in ballot: https://ballotrequest.sos.ga.gov. Even if you voted by mail in November, you will need to request another mail ballot for the election in January.
  3. I am proud to endorse Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff for Senate, who will be bright and hardworking advocates for the people of Georgia. If you find yourself with spare time, please visit the Georgia Democratic Party website to donate and get involved ahead of this critical last leg of the election: https://www.georgiademocrat.org/

As I mentioned, the coronavirus is peaking again in our state. This Wednesday was the highest single day of new infections since August. I urge you to wear a mask, practice social distancing, and increase caution as we move into the holiday season.

I wish you and your loved ones health, happiness, and prosperity. Please enjoy your weekend.

Sincerely,

Congressman Sanford D. Bishop, Jr.
