In this week’s update, (1) the Associated Press FINALLY calls the NY-1 race, (2) coronavirus hypocrisy of state and local electeds throughout the country, and (3) a record number of Republican women are elected to Congress.

The Associated Press FINALLY Calls NY-1

After the NY-1 race ended, every ballot was counted, my opponent conceded, our win was certified with over 205,000 votes and a lead of many tens of thousands of votes, and then another day's delay for good measure, the Associated Press has finally called our race just now. A truly absurd delay by the AP. What exactly were they waiting for?

Coronavirus Hypocrisy of State and Local Electeds Across US

Many state and local elected officials across the country keep pushing statements and coronavirus restrictions that show it's “Rules for thee but not for me.” To call outdoor dining “a most dangerous situation” and then hours later proceed to eat outdoors is stunning hypocrisy. The political class should be held to the same standards they try setting on everyone else.

A Record Number of Republican Women Heading to Congress

Republicans had a great year picking up several key House seats, including a RECORD number of Republican women elected to Congress. As of now, at least 17 new Republican women were elected to the House and that list may end up being even higher. My Leadership PAC, called LEEPAC, donated to the 2020 campaigns of many of these new female Members. Congratulations to these Republican women for making history!
