Hi there,

Fox News reports that Parler CEO John Matze thinks Facebook's "secret internal algorithm" is "Orwellian."

It's rare you'll catch us agreeing with anything that was said on Fox News -- but in this case, we agree. The Wall Street Journal reported back in May that a two-year study concluded Facebook's algorithms were politically polarizing the country. Facebook's response? To not enact the most significant changes that the internal study urged them to take.

Additionally, Facebook and other social media sites have been hotbeds for sharing fake news. President-elect Biden has said he would revoke legal protections for Big Tech, which would then make companies like Twitter and Facebook accountable for hosting false information, like the kind that propelled Trump to victory in 2016.

But even though studies have shown conservatives share the most fake news online, many GOP Senators are convinced Big Tech is actually too friendly to progressives. With crucial runoffs in Georgia approaching -- vital elections that will decide which party controls Congress -- we're reaching out to our Democratic supporters to see if they think Big Tech companies should have a shorter leash. Tell us what you think:

Do you want Big Tech regulated?
