Black folks are 3.6 times more likely to be arrested for marijuana than white people, despite similar marijuana use rates.
My bill is a historic step toward addressing systemic racism. I am proud to have fought alongside communities of color, progressive organizations, and NORML to overcome entrenched opposition to pass it through the House of Representatives.
