Arizona is delivering on the commitment to provide teachers with 20 percent
pay raises by school year 2020. With $165 million provided in this year's
budget, school districts are delivering on Arizona’s 20x2020 commitment,
providing 5% raises for teachers this year.

According to a recent report released by the National Assessment Governing
Board, Arizona schools have made incredible progress on the National
Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) over the last 12 years. Learn

Arizona continues to take aggressive and proactive steps to keep people,
pets and property safe. The Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire
Management (DFFM) has nearly 300 wildland firefighters deployed to tackle
wildfires in every part of the state.
