I’m thrilled to be the host of ADL’s In Concert Against Hate on Sunday, December 6 at 8pm ET/5pm PT because at the end of this challenging year, we all need to raise our voices.
Will you?
I can’t wait to hear performances from Adam Levine, Andra Day and Kenny Loggins. They’re all such powerful performers, and they will bring their most inspiring songs to unite us at the Concert.
And what better cause for us to unite around (virtually, since that’s 2020 for you) than to honor amazing everyday heroes who deserve to be lifted up for their work in communities across America?
We’ll hear the stories of a Holocaust survivor who has spent her life teaching and healing others, a team of Texas educators who stepped up to bring relief to suffering asylum seekers, and a nine-year-old Virginian who is already making a difference by challenging assumptions about race in our country.
And they’re just the start; there’s more music and a long list of amazing stars who will help tell the stories of our honorees. I’ll be welcoming so many other talented actors and musicians to the virtual stage, including Bebe Neuwirth, Aloe Blacc, Ifetayo Ali-Landing, Jason Isbell, George Takei, Bob Costas, Rafe Pearlman and Olivia Boisson.
We’re eager to be part of the ADL community for this big night.
In a year like no other, we want to stand up with you and everyone else who helps ADL fulfill the vital goal of making the world better by speaking out against antisemitism, extremism and hatred.
Making this concert a success is a wonderful way we can all pull together in these divisive times.
