Our city is facing many challenges as a result of the pandemic. We know that so many New Orleanians are hurting right now, and we feel your pain. That’s why it’s important that we don’t raise taxes. However, there are still many problems that we need to allocate funds to address. There are a series of millage measures on the ballot December 5th that will reallocate existing revenue to address the problems that we urgently need to solve without raising taxes.

Our economy needs to be reinvigorated so we can recover from this pandemic. We need affordable housing so that all hard-working New Orleanians have a roof over their heads. We need to improve our infrastructure so that our city can be a safe and comfortable place to live. We need to fund childcare and education for young children so that they can grow into their full potential as citizens of our great city.
