We are delighted to invite you to join us on Sunday, December 13 from 5:00 - 6:00 PM EST for a free virtual gathering of inspiration and conversation with bestselling Irish author Ruairí McKiernan. Ruairí will be joining us live from the west coast of Ireland for a fireside chat about his debut book ‘Hitching for Hope - A Journey Into the Heart and Soul of Ireland’. Recently published by US publisher Chelsea Green (based in Vermont), the book went straight to number 1 in theIrish Timespaperback non-fiction bestseller charts.

Described as a ‘powerful manifesto for hope and healing in troubled times’,Hitching for Hopeis part personal pilgrimage, and part political quest that captures the power of human resilience’. The book is a reflection of a hitchhiking listening tour McKiernan undertook around Ireland during the 2013 recession there. It is very much a timely celebration of the value of community spirit, kindness and collective action in today’s troubled world.
