With COVID-19 cases spiking across the nation and hardworking families struggling, it's time to put aside our differences and come together to pass comprehensive relief legislation.

Time is of the essence because a number of provisions from the last relief package, such as expanded unemployment insurance and eviction moratoriums, will expire at the end of the year. We need swift action to pass new legislation that includes these protections and more.

That's why I'm proud to be working with a bipartisan group of Senators to get a new relief package signed into law before the end of the year. But we need your help to make it happen.

The next relief package must extend unemployment funding and aid for small businesses, increase funding for health care workers and facilities, prevent homelessness, and prioritize helping the communities that have been hit the hardest.

We should all be able to agree that these measures are necessary and worthwhile. It's unacceptable that partisan gridlock has prevented us from passing the aid that the American people need.
