A judge has ruled in agreement with the worst of the GOP conspiracy theorists.

The GOP has been trying to claim Biden didn’t really win the election -- with Republican Electoral College nominees declaring recently in court that “the vote count … is wrong. Tens of thousands of votes counted toward Vice President Biden’s final tally were the product of illegality, and physical and computer-based fraud leading to ‘outright ballot stuffing.’”

Friend, 80 million Americans voted for Joe Biden, who also won fair and square in the Electoral College. There was no ballot stuffing.

But now a district judge in Georgia has AGREED with the GOP, granting the emergency motion filed by Republican electors to freeze voting data so the far-right can “investigate.”

This is a five-alarm fire. This is how a steal happens in plain sight. They’re using the courts (courts where Trump appointed the judges) and they’re winning. We’re trying to stop them, but no one’s paying attention. Everyone is cheering for an inauguration that hasn’t happened yet.

We know you’re someone who pays attention to the news that slips between the cracks. We know you’re horrified by the way the GOP is attacking our democracy. We know you want nothing more than to stop this abuse of our justice system. That’s why we need your help.

 

Please, will you give now to DEMAND that the GOP not tamper with our votes? Will you give now to SUPPORT the lawyers fighting in court on behalf of Joe Biden, the truth, and the right side of history? Will you give now to SECURE the 46th president of the United States of America and push back against the efforts of the 45th and his supporters?

 

 

These are indeed grave times, friend. This may very well be the first major court victory for the Trumpers -- it won’t be the last.
