Dear John,

We are one week away from International Human Rights Day, December 10th, and the
world's biggest human rights event: Write for Rights !

It’s a powerful moment when Amnesty International’s movement comes together to
take action for freedom, justice and equality. Every year, people tweet, type,
draw or write messages in support of individuals and communities whose human
rights have been denied, unleashing a global wave of solidarity.

We hope you can join us for this special occasion. Whether you have a few minutes or a full day, there are many ways you can take
part on your own, with others in your community, or with other supporters across
the country!

JOIN THE NATIONAL VIRTUAL MARATHON
December 10th: 12:00-8:30 pm EST

Join us for a Canada-wide, jam-packed day of Write for Rights activities! Drop
in at any point to take part in our letter-writing marathon, updates from across
Canada and the world, and to learn about this year's cases.

From 7:30-8:30 pm EST, we'll finish the day with “ In Conversation with Ketty Nivyabandi and Alex Neve ,” a virtual fireside chat with Adrian Harewood, co-host of CBC News Ottawa .
