Hello,

This is Erica Peresman. As the Voter Protection Director, I have my eye on everything the GOP is doing, keeping track of all the court cases Trump's team is losing and working to correct the record on their wild conspiracy theories.

The man in charge of the effort — Rudy Giuliani — paid Michigan a visit yesterday for a fake committee hearing. I call it that because Giuliani is incapable of discussing these made-up claims without turning it into a laughingstock.

Despite these failures, Trump and his allies still refuse to accept the election results. Instead, they are attempting one last-ditch attempt at stealing the election: they are trying to convince Michigan's GOP-controlled state legislature to overturn the will of the voters by appointing Trump electors.

We know to never count on the GOP to do the right thing when it comes to standing up to Trump. That's why we must act to protect the results of the election. Add your name to our petition now to demand state Republicans resist Trump's efforts to steal the election.

This partisan power grab is unlikely to succeed, but that doesn't make it any less threatening to our democracy.

You see, Trump couldn't have broken down so many of our democractic norms and institutions over the last four years if there weren't leaders in the Republican Party going along with him every step of the way, enabling him.

We won't stand for it. This is an undemocratic and illegal power grab from Trump. If you're with us in this fight, add your name now.

Thank you for making your voice heard,

Erica Peresman
Voter Protection Director
