We are facing an economic crisis on top of an economic crisis.

As the pandemic continues to devastate our economy, student loan debt is crushing millions of people across the country.

Student loan borrowers hold over $1.7 TRILLION in debt, and it’s preventing a generation of young people from owning homes, starting businesses, and saving for retirement. And that was before the pandemic forced businesses to close and millions to file for unemployment.

President-elect Biden can cancel trillions of dollars of student loan debt without the help of Congress. Regardless of who controls the Senate, we need to make sure that Biden acts on this immediately to bring relief to working families.
