We are excited to announce the final guest of our Fall Speaker Series! You are invited to join a conversation with Carol Bliese, Senior Director of Teacher Programs at Population Connection, on Thursday, December 10th, at 2:00pm ET/11:00am PT. The title of Carol’s talk is Education for Earth’s Sake: How PopEd Supports Teachers and Inspires Future Generations.
You can RSVP for the talk here.
Carol oversees the day-to-day functioning of the PopEd workshop program. She facilitates teacher training workshops throughout the U.S. and Canada and has led over 650 workshops in her 10+ years with the program. Carol is involved with curriculum development and teacher engagement marketing and manages the program website and blog. Participants will leave the presentation with a better understanding of how Population Education supports teachers educating their students on population dynamics and sustainability.
Carol’s is the final presentation of our Fall Speaker Series. Over the last few months, we’ve hosted Zoom calls from experts in the fields of public health, population, and reproductive rights. Recordings of past speakers are available to view on the Fall Speaker Series main page.
