Friends,

Despite the fact that the presidential election has been decided for weeks, we’re still seeing Trump and his campaign threaten our democracy and election administration officials, spreading misinformation, and swindling over $150 million while attempting to disenfranchise voters.

Here’s what they didn’t count on: Emerge alums will stand up for what is right, and they will not be bullied.

Add your name to thank the Emerge alums who have defended our democracy and carried out safe elections so voters could make their voices heard. [link removed]

In Arizona, Secretary Katie Hobbs laid the groundwork so her community understood the secure and fair process for counting ballots and certifying results so there was no space for Trump’s baseless claims and veiled threats.

In Colorado, Secretary of State Jena Griswold refused to let misinformation and threats get in the way of free and fair elections.

And in Oregon, Emerge Alum Shemia Fagan is stepping up as Oregon’s next Secretary of State to safeguard the right to vote for every Oregonian.

Add your name to thank all of the Emerge Alums who worked hard to protect free and fair elections in their community. [link removed]

Thank you,

Danielle Noel
Deputy Communications Director

This email was sent to [email protected]. Emerge is a national organization working to recruit, train, and get Democratic women elected across the country, and we are so grateful to have you on our team. Our alums are strong voices for Democratic values — and they are working to bring their values up and down the ballot to fight for working families. They are fighting for critical issues that affect our communities like the environment, accessible and affordable healthcare, social justice and education equity. We need more alums fighting for us across the country.

Email is the best way for us to keep you informed about what’s happening with our work. You may notice that we send a lot of emails asking for your support—that’s because we win when everyone does what they can to help. Our organization depends on thousands of actual people who care about our democracy and want to see positive change in our communities and across our country by building power through investing in Democratic women.
