Friend -- we did it. Thanks to years of hard work and advocacy from so
many people like you, who are committed to protecting our environment, we were
able to block the Pebble Mine permit.

The Army Corps of Engineers denied the permit for the Pebble Mine in Bristol
Bay, Alaska, citing what we have known all along -- the proposed Pebble Mine is
"contrary to public interest."

It's been a long road to get to this moment. We have been fighting for years to
protect Bristol Bay and stop the Pebble Mine because of its severe repercussions
for our environment and our economy in the Pacific Northwest. I am so grateful
to have had you with me every step of the way. Together, we stopped one of the
most environmentally destructive and ill-conceived projects.

This is a proud moment for all of us -- but there is still plenty of work ahead
to protect our most important natural resources. Blocking the Pebble Mine permit
was just one step in a long journey -- chip in today to fund the fight ahead!

We've spent the last four years fighting against Trump's proposals to curtail
environmental protections. Now, as he is on his way out, we blocked the
disastrous Pebble Mine, protecting the Bristol Bay ecosystem from destruction,
saving one of the largest salmon fisheries in the world, and safeguarding one of
Washington state's largest industries and thousands of jobs.

It's been tough work, but we can't let up. In the coming months, I look forward
to encouraging the incoming administration to establish permanent protections
for Bristol Bay, ending the Pebble Mine for good.

Thank you for your support throughout this fight. If you can, please contribute
today to help me continue our efforts to defend our most valuable resources.
