SUPPORT THE COUNCIL
Dear John,

Though this fall looks different than we imagined, I hope you have been as energized as I have by the exciting new ways the Pacific Council is sharing the international policy landscape with audiences in California and around the world.

Now, more than ever, we need the support of our cherished patrons. Your generosity is especially meaningful while the Council grapples with this global health crisis and continues to support our community through this winter and beyond. We’ve connected our network of over 1,000 members across the world, increased our volume of programs, and provided solutions to pressing issues such as COVID PPE and voter registration.

To strengthen the Council’s future and support our diverse community during this challenging time, I’m writing to ask you to make a gift today

Every donation counts – in that spirit, I wanted to share a few examples that give you a sense of how contributions at every level directly underwrite our work promoting global engagement:

  • A contribution of $25 underwrites a month of the Pacific Council Magazine platform, and examples of this analysis can be found below;

  • A $50 donation covers the technical costs of welcoming a new member class to the Pacific Council via a virtual orientation; and

  • A gift of $175 subsidizes one year of participation for an Emerging Leader – our cohort of members at the start of their careers.

Thank you for being a part of the Pacific Council. Your dedication to our community – our expert speakers, memorable events, and commitment to new impact-driven projects – continue to inspire me and all of us at the Council. I look forward to the time when we can be together again and celebrate the innovation and intellect of the Council with audiences of all walks of life.

Stay safe and be well,
Jen Faust

The Pacific Council offers insightful analysis through our virtual events with global leaders and also through written commentary on the online Magazine. Below are a few recent articles that demonstrate our network's thought leadership.
Margaret Stock, immigration attorney, and Nahal Kazemi, senior counsel at Keller/Anderle LLP

Any attempt to undermine birthright citizenship, such as a recent false claim that Vice President-elect Kamala Harris was not born in the United States, will throw into question the citizenship of millions of Americans who contribute tremendously to their communities and our country.
Kimiya Shokoohi, journalist

The exhibit “Dissolving Order,” by Azeri artist Faig Ahmed, shows us that it takes a little bit of chaos to inject some retrospection for the creation of genius works.
