Dear John,

If you live in the U.S., chances are good that your life has been directly impacted by Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Are you—or is someone you love—a woman who has a credit card or loan in her own name? You’ve got RBG to thank for that!

Here are four other ways RBG fought for equality:

  • Argued that pregnancy discrimination is a form of sex discrimination

  • Ensured that men and women get equal preference in estate disputes

  • Advocated for widowers to get Social Security benefits after a spouse’s death

  • Inspired passage of the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, allowing Americans to challenge unequal pay

RBG’s legacy of justice epitomized, as she said, that “one lives not just for oneself but for one’s community.”

We want to hear why YOU believe in justice!

Is there someone you’re inspired by? Possibly someone who shattered a glass ceiling, a pioneering advocate or even your own mom? Please share, making sure to use #WhyIBelieveinJustice!
