Hello,

The consequences of Justice Amy Coney Barrett's appointment to the Supreme Court are finally becoming clear.

Just before midnight on November 25, Barrett "cast the decisive vote in a 5-to-4 ruling that rejected restrictions on religious services in New York imposed by Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo to combat the coronavirus," The New York Times reported, "shoving the chief justice into dissent with the court's three remaining liberals."

Over 270,000 Americans have died from COVID-19. And health officials are predicting yet another spike in coronavirus infections and deaths in the wake of Thanksgiving travel.

We think our federal government should work with local organizations to ensure that public health and safety is protected -- not enable them to cut corners under the guise of religious freedom. But Americans are split on the issue, which is why we're reaching out to you today. Will you take a moment to tell us where you stand? Let us know:

Should churches be exempt from COVID-19 restrictions?
