We have some exciting news -- Deborah Gonzalez just won her runoff and is going to be the first Latina District Attorney in Georgia!

This is a historic victory and a reminder that local races matter. Deborah has now won twice: she won the election, and won the right to have the election when Gov Kemp tried to cancel it.

Thanks to your grassroots support, we now have a progressive DA in the Western Judicial Circuit who will establish restorative justice programs, address racial sentencing disparities, and work to end mass incarceration.

It goes to show that when we fight for change at all levels of government, anything is possible.

I look forward to seeing how Deborah continues to uplift and empower her community. And I am confident that, after today, we are one step closer to creating a more equitable future.
