While there haven’t been any dragons in our skies or White Walkers on our doorsteps, 2020 has still felt like something out of a novel. Between a global pandemic and the dangerous ineptitude of the Trump administration, I know many of us are ready to launch headfirst into 2021 and leave this year in the dust.
But we still have work to do before we cross that finish line. Right now, NIAC is just $1,500 short of our Giving Tuesday fundraising goal, and we need your help to reach it by the end of the week in order to secure a match. Despite the challenges our country and community have faced this year, NIAC has seen numerous successes because of the ongoing support from people like you, John. Your support this year helped us do everything from mobilizing the largest Iranian-American voter outreach effort in history to furthering our critical human rights and policy research.
And with the Biden administration taking office in just over a month, we’re already innovating new ways to amplify the voices of our community in 2021. But the fact remains that a Biden administration will face enormous roadblocks under a Republican majority Senate. That's why we're ramping up NOW to mobilize Georgia's sizable Iranian-American population to help win the January runoff elections and win the Senate majority.
But we need your help to get there.
