Last week, the U.S. Supreme Court declared that Governor Andrew Cuomo’s COVID restrictions have gone too far.
From unconstitutional restrictions on religious worship, to crushing limitations on businesses that won’t be able to survive his decisions, Andrew Cuomo is crossing lines left and right that will have disastrous consequences on the future of our state.
Now, the out-of-touch left is passing out Emmy Awards to Cuomo for his “effort.” Meanwhile, Cuomo is personally cashing in on the coronavirus by writing a self-congratulatory book on his efforts. This is all almost too ridiculous to comprehend.
While it’s important that we take precautions during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Governor’s most recent actions don’t “pass the smell test” and lack common sense.
And sadly, Cuomo isn’t the only Governor setting these outrageous regulations.
Lee understands the importance of taking the COVID-19 outbreak seriously, but we need more of a commonsense approach that truly protects our most vulnerable. Lee does not support Cuomo’s radical restrictions that destabilize our small businesses and economy and target religious groups.
