Dear friend,
Here at American Documentary, we are kicking off this season of giving and gratitude with a special thank you to our community of filmmakers, local partners, stations and viewers. Whether you watch every week or contributed this #GivingTuesday, you play a vital part in making artful documentaries accessible to everyone.
Thanks, too, for sharing how our films inspire, surprise and challenge you to consider other points of view. We love to read your personal emails about POV ([link removed][UNIQID]) films, social media comments about America ReFramed ([link removed][UNIQID]) and survey responses from the many virtual community network events our partners hosted this year. In fact, we start each staff meeting by reading your feedback as a reminder of why we do what we do.
We’re a small but mighty team of documentary lovers who, just like you, believe in the power of nonfiction storytelling to be a catalyst for change. If one of our films or projects has moved you, please consider making a gift ([link removed][UNIQID]) to support American Documentary, the nonprofit that champions documentaries for the people. We rely on the support of our donors to continue to bring incredible nonfiction stories to public media each year.
Thank you for all that you do to support American Documentary.

With gratitude,
Savannah & The American Documentary Development Team
