Friends --

Mark Warner joined a bi-partisan group of Senate colleagues to propose urgently needed interim coronavirus relief in the Senate this week. It's critically important that Virginians -- and folks around the country -- get the help they need as soon as possible.

Mark knows that we can't wait until Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are in the White House, and believes that we can do better than the weak package introduced by Mitch McConnell. That's why he's leading the way forward on a bi-partisan bridge package that would get folks through the next four months before we can begin rebuilding our country under the Biden administration.

The new bi-partisan framework introduced this week proposes funding for:
- Health care providers and health care systems;
- Vaccine development and distribution;
- Student loan forgiveness;
- Assistance for rental housing;
- The U.S. Postal Service; and
- Aid for the transportation industry, among other critically needed services.

With COVID-19 infections in the United States over 13.3 million, there simply isn't time to waste. That's why Senator Warner is working across the aisle to cut through partisan bickering and make sure that aid makes it to the Americans who need it the most, as quickly as possible. Mark is committed to seeing this package through and continuing to advocate for the aid that Virginians need during this ongoing crisis through additional relief packages.

Mark Warner made his position clear this week: He's determined to pass this bridge package before the Senate is in recess for the holidays. Join us in supporting his efforts by signing our petition.
