For more than ten years, Free Speech For People has fought to protect and restore our democracy for we, the people. We have led the fight to overturn the Supreme Court's "Citizens United" ruling and the falsehood that corporations are people with constitutional rights. We have taken on big money in politics and have authored model legislation enacted in Seattle, Washington and St. Petersburg, Florida to end foreign-influenced corporate spending in elections and to abolish super PACs. We have filed key election protection cases to challenge voter suppression and voter intimidation. We have fought for election security and demanded that voting machine companies be held accountable for marketing unreliable and insecure products. And, we have confronted the frequent abuses of power by President Trump and his allies over the past four years.
