AFSCME MD posts updated list of Maryland testing sites for COVID-19
In light of the increasing number of positive cases of COVID-19, AFSCME Council 3 on Wednesday reminded all members to stay safe, wear a mask and practice social distancing. "If you are concerned about a possible exposure, please immediately quarantine and take the necessary precautions to minimize the spread," the union [link removed] said. The union also posted the latest statewide [link removed] list of testing sites for COVID-19 and information about how to schedule an appointment.

"You may be seeing things about #covidfatigue," wrote Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Local 1 of MD, VA & D.C. in a recent [link removed] Facebook post. "The truth is, the stress of the pandemic and continuously being cautious can take a toll on our mental health. There are a lot of tactics and solutions that can help if you're exhausted by the COVID news and resulting changes to your day-to-day life. It's not okay to stop taking care of yourself and others!" The post includes a graphic providing examples of relief measures you can take, as well as links to [link removed] additional resources regarding COVID-19 and COVID fatigue. "These tactics can help with many types of stress in your life," the union notes, "and you may find that you were holding tension you didn't know existed."
